Reaching the daily max loss/profit squares off every engine position (all segments) and blocks new entries for the rest of the day. Max capital caps the entry value of open positions. The kill switch also sells carried delivery holdings.

Every rule is shown in full. "Use this strategy" copies it into My strategies where you can edit anything. Risk limits shown are per-lot defaults multiplied by the lots (or capital) you pick. Only NIFTY (NSE, Tuesday) and SENSEX (BSE, Thursday) have weekly options; the others use the monthly expiry. MCX templates are beta (paper / backtest; live orders depend on your broker).

Weekly options: NIFTY (NSE, Tuesday) and SENSEX (BSE, Thursday). Others are monthly — "weekly" then means the nearest expiry. Strike offset: 0 = ATM, +1 = 1 strike OTM, −1 = 1 strike ITM (walks the listed strikes, e.g. a stock's ₹10/₹20 steps). FUT legs ignore the strike.

Every position entry is one trade for credits. Signals are evaluated on each stock's own candles.

Option strategies check conditions on the underlying (index, or the stock for stock options); equity / futures strategies on the instrument's own candles (with volume). Only closed candles
of the chosen timeframe — the same way in backtest and live. With entry conditions the strategy waits from the entry time
until the last entry time; if no signal comes, there is no trade that day. Strikes (ATM ± offset) use the spot at the moment
the signal fires. Leave empty for a normal time-based entry.

Backtest (Upstox 1-minute data)
Expired option/futures contracts need an Upstox Plus plan (Expired Instruments API). 1-minute history starts Jan 2022 (max 1 year per run); daily-timeframe delivery strategies can test up to 10 years. Charges are estimates (FY 2026-27 rates) — your contract note decides.

Connect your broker
Strategy signals always use one Upstox market-data feed; only order execution goes to the broker you pick here. SEBI's retail-algo framework requires API orders to come from a static IP registered with your broker (set an egress proxy below if several users share this server). Brokers other than Upstox are implemented from public docs and not yet verified against a live account — test with paper mode and tiny size first.
- Create an API app in your broker's developer portal (docs).
- Set its Redirect URL to exactly:
- Register your server's static IP with the broker.
- Fill the fields below (stored encrypted), save, then log in every trading morning.
